DHIS2 Asia Pacific Conference 2023

The DHIS2 Asia/Pacific Conference, held from Tuesday, October 1 to Thursday, October 3, 2024, in Da Nang, Vietnam, was successfully completed with more than 50 attendees from across the region.

Organized by the HISP Asia Hub and the University of Oslo, the conference provided a platform for the Asia/Pacific DHIS2 community to meet, share experiences, and discuss the latest developments and innovations in DHIS2. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in parallel sessions, balancing technical skill-building with discussions, fostering connections that may lead to new partnerships and collaborations.

This regional event mirrored the format of the annual DHIS2 Conference in Oslo, offering a valuable experience for participants.

DHIS2 Academy, Level 1: Android Use and Configuration

DHIS2 Academy, Level 1: Android Use and Configuration

The University of Oslo and HISP Sri Lanka successfully concluded the “DHIS2 Android Use and Configuration Academy” Level 1 from 27 November to 1 December 2023 at the Galle Face Hotel in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The Academy saw satisfactory participation from both the host country, Sri Lanka, and international attendees. Participants received in-depth training on:

  1. Collecting and visualizing quality data with an Android mobile device for Aggregate, Event, and Tracker programs.
  2. Modifying metadata to optimize functionality in the Android app, including the use of colors, icons, maps, relationships, and other Android-specific settings.
  3. Understanding the implications of using Android in implementations from various perspectives, such as testing, training, security, and deployment.

DHIS2 Academies we Conducted

HISP Sri Lanka conducts DHIS2 Level 1 academies in Sri Lanka, the pearl of Indian ocean. Our residential training academies are conducted by qualified trainers from HISP Sri Lanka with the support of experts of University of Oslo and global DHIS2 community.

We also host Level 2 academies conducted by experts from global HISP community.
